Final Fantasy XI is another online game developed by Square and is the 11th chapter in the Final Fantasy series. It is the first cross platform MMORPG with versions for the PC, XBox, and Playstation 2. The story takes place in the fictional world of Vana'diel, where tasks must be completed in order to advance the character's power and finish the assigned quests.
Final Fantasy XI is different from previous games in the series. If Final Fantasy XI characters are customizable including, gender, race, hair color, body size, face, job and allegiance. Also in Final Fantasy XI all battles are real time and your enemies are not just randomly generated. Gameplay is based on two major factors: missions, through which the story of the game is told, and quests, which don't advance the storyline, but give the game more depth and fill out the world.
