myLot Discussions | | Game Consoles | | I still remember the first game console I had, it was Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) and the game I always play in it was Duck Hunt. Then, the Family Computer, where I played Mario, Donkey Kong, Circus, and more. Next was Playstation 1, which we had 5 of it because we had it for rent. Then what I currently have now is a PSP. And i want to have a Nintendo Wii or an Xbox 360.=DHow 'bout you? What game consoles did you had or own?
| | Anyone like playing vintage/old videogames for fun? | | I know I do! I went to garage sale awhile back and found an old Nintendo Entertainment System with about 10 games in it. I played it while it lasted and it was so much fun, even though technology had already significantly surpassed that era/generation. What do you like to play that would be considered old/out of date? | |

| | Would you buy a $17,500 videogame? | | Sounds crazy really to hear such news of a guy who bought a videogame worth $17,500. Games today worth only about $60 for the premium and newly released titles, while you can buy even cheaper games at around $10 each for the old ones. But would you, I mean would you ever shell out you hard earned cash of $17,500 just to buy an old Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) cartridge?. JJ Hendrix bought the obscure NES game which has about 6 minutes and 21 seconds of gameplay, containing short segments of Super Mario Bros., Tetris and Rad Racer. The ultra rare, gold colored NES game was made exclusively for a Nintendo-sponsored game contest and based on Wikipedia only 26 of these game cartridges were made, and Hendrix considers it as the "Holy Grail" of game collectors. Though for my opinion, it is seemingly outrageous, I think Hendrix hit the mark, since the actual price of it on eBay is about $25,000 cold cash. We may never know what would be its total value in the next 5-10 years in the future. So what do you think? Would it be worth? | |

| | | Home invasion, has it ever happened to you? | | It seems to be apparent lately, that more and more home invasions are happening all across the United States and Canada. When I was 6 my mother and I were out, and our home was invaded, we lost a stereo and my mother has never been able or willing to buy one since.Later on one of my own childhood friends broke into my home while we were out, and stole my Nintendo entertainment system and a butcher knife .. of all things. The lady upstairs from us at the time was robbed and she was alone with her little boy, they were held at knife point, I can only imagine how scary that would actually be.Have you ever been the victim of a home invasion? What happened? If you haven't how do you think you would handle one?Would you pretend to be sleeping?
Try to call 9-1-1 while it is occuring?
Just let the burglars take, and leave with what they want?
Or would you fight back with your fists, a baseball bat, or a gun or some other weapon?
